I'm writing this back at home; having stepped off the plane less than two hours ago. Amazingly, I feel OK enough to make second service at GrX, maybe even the banquet.
Shanghai was packed but still fun overall; besides the business that brought me there, it was all about enjoying food both ridiculously cheap and expensive, meeting with long-unseen friends, and seeing everything that's changed, and not.
This month, I'm definitely beginning to understand what the life of a consultant or sales/marketing person is like on a first hand basis... it's cool having companies pay for your flights, put you up in relatively nice hotels, wine and dine you, but the novelty quickly wears off. I love travelling, but on my own terms, and doing my own routine of fellowship, discovery and adventure.
Anyhow, please pray for me... I will be making some big decisions very soon; decisions which may very well be the most momentous of my life thus far.
I'm sure some of you can guess what I'm hinting at... more to come. ;)
