Holy harmony...

If you notice the frequency of my updates, from the very inception of this page, it has always been irregular -- spurts of frequent updating followed by long dry spells. I think this is often tied to my own spiritual life and fervor, and I think that a spurt is coming again... which in light of this, I am thankful for.

This is sort of a Darlene-esque entry... This poem made me think and realize that to me, the scientific, inquisitive mind, the biggest high-level thing about God is how He makes everything fall into this perfect harmony, in the world, in science, in my own life... everything coming together and fitting together even when we don't realize it. We just have to trust...

Thou shalt know Him when He comes
Not by any din of drums
Nor the vantage of His airs,
Nor by anything He wears,
Neither by His crown nor His gown.
For His presence known shall be
By the holy harmony
Which His coming makes in thee.
